The same procedure as every year: the herbst Bar, legendary, written off time and again, but always back for a fresh start. In a scruffy wine bar in the middle of the festival district, already open in the morning, although a festival thrives on late risers and night-owls. There’s always drinks and music – along with a concert by Ernesty International, the home-recording solo project of Ernst Tiefenthaler (whose voice also features in the bands Bell Etage and Hotel Prestige): intensive melodies, both melancholy and euphoric. Timeless, as if they have always existed. Special DJ guests Christian Fuchs (Bunny Lake, FM4) and Phillip L’Heritier (FM4) host an indie disco and DJ Mooner (Zombocombo) hazards a few wild melodies. And anything that the Bar is too small for will be taking place just a short walk away at the festival district Club: Screaming Females from New Jersey and Icelander Sindri Már Sigfússon alias Sin Fang will be performing live here. And if it is even to small here – Apparatjik - international Supergroup – play live on the final weekend of the festival at Orpheum Graz.
