NXTSTP

steirischer herbst is a partner of NXTSTP, an ambitious and long-term project that forms part of the European Union culture programme. Next Step is a network of seven European art festivals, with the aim of fostering the co-production and expansion of the performing arts in Europe. NXTSTP wants to provide impetus to performing artists on the verge of an international breakthrough, by creating access to major theatres and making tours of Europe easier, thus attracting and appealing to new audiences.  The results can be seen at steirischer herbst 2011 through Eszter Salamon (D/H) and Lotte van den Berg (NL).
